| Why I don't have a cell phone |

For a long, long time I refused to carry a cell phone at work. I don't trust the things. You see, I'm kinda funny about sticking microwave radiation next to my brain. I finally did give in, for about a year, but I used it rarely. I set it on the desk when not mobile and clipped it to my left pinky when mobile - I didn't clip it to my belt.
I see Slashdot is running this story about how cell phones can potentially damage your DNA. Ooh, shocking. Truly.
You see, about 5 years ago I read an article PC Magazine (I think) that discussed a similar study conducted by Motorola. When the results started to go badly (i.e. not in favor of Motorola) they cancelled the study. I knew then and there I didn't want anything to do with those things.
On the other hand, maybe I'm just a paranoid lunatic
Anyway, here are some other fun links for you. Enjoy.
