| Pretty Journal |

I was visiting cromedome's journal and I noticed that his journal is so much purrtier than mine. I guess I wished mine looked nicer, but I just don't have the effort or skill required to do it.
This is part of the reason I'm a crappy web programmer. I'd rather pull my fingernails out than waste hours on hours trying to make things look good on a web page. I'm all about the backend baby! Programatically speaking, that is. |

| Smalltalk |

I see Travis Griggs is impressed by negatively indexed collections.
What?! Uh, I hate to tell you this Travis, but most dynamic languages do this.
# Ruby a = [1,"two",3] a[-1] # 3
Ooooh, aaahhhh.
Frankly, the more I learn about Smalltalk the less I'm impressed. It just gets in my way with annoying syntax/constructs in the name of OO purity that are so much simpler in other dynamic languages. Plus, most Smalltalk programmers are annoying prats. |
